Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentations

Each talk will be a maximum of 20 minutes including questions (15 minutes including questions for student papers).

An overhead projector will be available, and a data projector attached to a PC with floppy disk drive and CD.

The PC will run Powerpoint 2001 and Acrobat 5.0.

If you need to copy your presentation to the PC from floppy or CD please do so BEFORE your session.

Laptops may be connected to the data projector. If you intend to use the data projector, please ensure that your presentation displays correctly BEFORE your session starts.

Poster Presentations

The poster session will be on Tuesday 2 September from 12:30 14:00.

Each presentation will be assigned a space and will be clearly labelled with the title of the paper. The usable space on each poster board is approximately A1 size i.e. 84 cm high by 60 cm wide.

Please format your poster so that it utilises this space and is easily readable from a distance of ~1 meter.

Poster displays can be put up any time on Tuesday morning and should be removed by 18:30.

Velcro tape (available from the registration desk) must be used to attach the posters to the poster boards. Pins are not allowed since they will damage the poster boards.
