BCANM hosts a formal seminar series, as well as weekly open scientific discussions:

Formal seminars

The aim of the formal seminars is to provide a structured forum for the exchange of ideas in connection with the scientific objectives of the Centre, and for visitors to the centre to interact with members of BLADE and other interested people across the university. Plenty of time is available for discussions after the talks! For further information, please contact Emma Weeks (tel: +44 (0)117 928 9734).

Open scientific discussions

These sessions allow for free discussions of ongoing research or new ideas between BCANM staff, postgraduates and visitors. A list of current topics is now available online.

Other seminars

In addition, the Centre actively participates in the seminars organised in the Department of Mathematics:

and also in the seminars organised by the Bristol Centre for Complex Systems.
