The workshop aim is the exchange of ideas and the forging of new collaborations between mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists, ecologists, psychologists and animal physiologists working at the interface of math and biology. The workshop will be focussed on the problem of quantifying interaction and decision making and their role in how animals share space and navigate. The workshop is possible through funding from an EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) Feasibility Account and the Bristol Centre for Complexity Sciences, and the support of the Predictive Life Sciences University of Bristol research theme and the Bristol Centre for Applied Nonlinear Mathematics.
