A mailing list has been activated reaching out all researchers taking part
to the activities of this workpackage. The list is private in the sense that
only its members can send message to it. If you want to be added to the list
or enclosed in the above list of participants please send an email to Mario
di Bernardo.
If you are a member of the mailing list, you can send a message to all participants
by using the address wp6-siconos@bristol.ac.uk
Further information on all the commands available to members of the mailing
list can be found here.
Objectives
- Validation of the numerical code on a set of test-bed problems
- Application of the software tool to investigate the dynamics and design
control strategies of three problems of relevance in Engineering
- DC/DC Converters
- Modelling and Control of Walking Robots
- Investigation of rattling and clonking in automotive systems with freeplay
- Comparison of the numerical results with experiments carried out on the
set-ups available to the consortium
Deliverables
The deliverables of this workpackage are listed below. By following
the links the latest draft of the reports can be downloaded.
- D6.1: Report on available applications within the
consortium (.zip)
- D6.2: Report on test-bed problems and the eventual bugs of the software
package
- D6.3: Report on the obtained experimental results for feedback controllers
- D6.4: Report on teh obtained experimental results for dynamics and bifurcation
analysis in open-loop and closed-loop.
Recent Activities
- Nov. 2002: A questionnaire is sent to all participating teams enquiring
about available experimental rigs, simulation software used etc.
- Jan. 2003: Results collected and assembled into first draft of the
report presented at SICONOS general meeting on 7th January 2003
- Mar. 2003: Following discussions at General Meeting, report is integrated
with further details from all team on systems of interest. Research effort
is directed towards recasting electrical networks as complementarity problems.
- Jul. 2003: Reports from teams are collected and added to the revised
draft of the report
- Sept. 2003: Report is published on the SICONOS Website
Description of current work
