The 17th ECMI student modelling week will be held at the University of Bristol, one of the UK's leading research centres in applied and industrial mathematics. About 40 students from across the European Union will come together to receive an intense ten-day training in mathematical modelling applied to industry. Scientists working in industry will be invited to present problems of genuine economic relevance, and the students will be selected into multi-national teams to try and solve them.

The ECMI modelling week is Europe's leading workshop for teaching industrial mathematics, but is also a fun social event where many life-long friends are made!
