Calstock village is in the foreground with the railway viaduct straddling the picture. The railway line runs from Plymouth to Gunnislake and there is a station in Calstock just at the end of the bridge. Some people like to take the train to Gunnislake, eat out, and catch the train back. Others take the train to Plymouth and come back by ferry. The cottage is on the left hand or Devon side of this picture as you can see it is surounded by farmland with easy access to riverside walks.
