Dr Krasimira Tsaneva-Atanasova

Although I was trained as a mathematician, due to the highly interdisciplinary nature of my research, my work often involves biophysics, biochemistry and data analysis (fluorescence microscopy etc.). Interaction with experimentalists is of highest importance to my research and is the primary driving force behind the synthesis of new modelling ideas. I am always interested in hearing from prospective graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with a background in mathematics, physics or related areas provided such students are interested and excited about the application of mathematics to cell biology.
